Capturing Finger Prints for Passports obtained from the Overseas Missions The individuals who obtained their current Sri Lankan passports through Overseas Missions have been temporarily released from the requirement of submitting the bio metrics/ finger prints prior to their next departure from Sri Lanka. They have facilitated at the Bandaranayake International Airport to departure, irrespective of capturing the finger prints during this period. Hence, they may not required to come to the Head Office of the Department at Battharamulla or any other regional branch to capture their finger prints. This exemption will be valid until a further notice. |
