Implementation of an Online Application System for Applicants applying for Dual Citizenship in Sri Lanka
With effect from 29 October 2026, applicants applying for dual citizenship in Sri Lanka through the Head Office of the Department of Immigration and Emigration will be able to submit their applications online and make an appointment convenient for them to submit the original documents to the Head Office of the Department of Immigration and Emigration.
